The Ankeny Business and Industry Collaborative hosted its annual Salute to Industry event at the Clubhouse at Talons on Tuesday, October 8th. The event celebrated the Ankeny, Iowa business community and honors those who have made significant contributions through the Salute to Industry Award.
As is tradition, the Salute to Industry Committee recognized winners in specific categories, and Accumold is thrilled to be among them. Together with DMACC, we received the Public/Private Partnership award for our collaboration on the Accumold Scholars program, an achievement also highlighted by the Salute to Industry Award.

The Accumold Scholars program recruits and provides tuition assistance for students to attend either the Tool & Die or Automation & Robotics programs at DMACCโs Ankeny campus. While attending classes, Accumold Scholars gain valuable hands-on experience by working part-time at Accumold, and following graduation, they are offered full-time positions. Over the past 18 years, the program has supported more than 100 participants, earning the prestigious Salute to Industry Award.
We extend our gratitude to the Ankeny Business and Industry Collaborative for recognizing the impact of the Accumold Scholars program and DMACC have had on the Ankeny community, particularly through the Salute to Industry Award.
You can watch a short video featuring Roger Hargens of Accumold and Kyle Collins of DMACC talking about the program and the award.
