Accumold will return to MD&M West 2026 (one of the industry’s most influential gatherings for medical device design and manufacturing), exhibiting at Booth #2828 from February 3–5 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

For medical device OEMs, micro molding is increasingly central to innovation. Whether the goal is miniaturization, improved ergonomics, tighter performance, or smarter integration, many next-generation devices depend on micro-sized plastic components that must be produced with extremely tight tolerances, and then scaled without surprises. The challenge isn’t only making a small part, it’s making the right small part, repeatedly, in volumes that support commercialization.

“MD&M West 2026 is always a highlight of the year, and I’m excited for Accumold to be part of it once again,” says Brett Saddoris, Technical Marketing Manager at Accumold. “It’s the perfect place to connect with engineers and teams who need true micro molding expertise. Stop by our booth, because we love to talk about how Accumold can make your next project a success.”

At Booth #2828, Accumold will share how medical teams can de-risk programs by treating supplier selection as a strategic decision, especially when parts are small, complex, and performance-critical.

In micro molding, it’s easy for capability to look similar on paper. The real difference appears in design guidance, tolerance discipline, repeatability, and the ability to scale efficiently once the design is locked. That’s why Design for Micro Molding (DfMM) thinking is so valuable early. It helps teams align part geometry, material behavior, and tooling strategy with the realities of production, before cost and timelines are committed.

Medical manufacturing also demands confidence in quality controls and process discipline. Accumold’s medical-focused quality systems and cleanroom production capabilities are designed to support applications where contamination control, traceability, and consistent output matter. For customers, this translates into reassurance that micro parts can be produced under controlled conditions and supported with the rigor that regulated markets expect. If you’re developing a device where microns matter, and where success depends on a supplier who can deliver both precision and production reality, visit Booth #2828 at MD&M West 2026.
