“BEST-KEPT SECRET” NOT A SECRET ANY LONGER AS GREATER DES MOINES PARTNERSHIP HONORS ACCUMOLD TODAY

DES MOINES — Accumold was recognized today for its outstanding commitment to quality and integrity by the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

Accumold was presented with a 2013 Celebrate Business Award as the Best-Kept Secret among large businesses in central Iowa. The honor is presented to the company that exemplifies “a reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight.”

“There’s a saying that integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching. Today’s recognition proves that people are watching more often than we think. We’re especially humbled by this award because it’s the result not of a single event but for something all of our people — past and present — have done day in and day out in the workplace,” said Accumold President and CEO Roger Hargens. “Every day they come through our doors, they’re focused on serving our clients’ best interests by maintaining the highest ethical standards and delivering the most innovative products at fair prices. That commitment to integrity and quality is woven into Accumold’s corporate fabric because it’s a very real part of every single employee. That’s what makes Accumold such an exceptional company.”

The Celebrate Business and Economic Impact Awards were presented at an awards luncheon at the Des Moines Marriott in downtown Des Moines. Six other businesses received Celebrate Business Awards in various categories. Seven companies received an Economic Impact Award to honor their influence on the local economy through job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.

The 2013 Celebrate Business Awards are sponsored by the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Des Moines Business Record, Bridgestone, Simpson College and the Young Professionals Connection.
