ACCUMOLD MARKETING STAFF PREPARES FOR FEBRUARY TRIFECTA OF TRADE SHOWS AFTER STARTING 2015 ROAD SHOWS AT DESIGNCON
ANKENY, Iowa – Just back from its first trade show of 2015, the Accumold marketing team has put Santa Clara’s DesignCon 2015 in the rearview mirror to set sights on three events in a crowded February schedule.
“We started the year at the DesignCon conference and expo from Jan. 28 to 30 and it was bigger than ever. It delivered an outstanding venue for top-flight vendors in the high speed design, signal integrity and test and measurement fields — and that’s why we were there,” said Aaron Johnson, Accumold’s Vice President of Marketing and Customer Strategy. “As productive as DesignCon was, we’re already focused on several events that are coming at us in rapid succession.”
The Accumold marketing team will participate in SPIE Photonics West from Feb. 7-12 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the overlapping MedTech World’s 30th anniversary MD&M West event from Feb. 10-12 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif., and Strategies in Light/The LED Show from Feb. 26-28 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
“At DesignCon 2015, we were fired up by the opportunity to share in the latest conversations with the best in the industry about taking products to the next performance level,” Johnson said. “We expect nothing less this month in three very different high-tech arenas with SPIE Photonics West, MD&M West, and Strategies in Light and The LED Show.”
SPIE Photonics West, which is the leading laser, photonics, and biomedical optics conference, is an annual stop on the Accumold travel schedule. It draws 20,000 attendees and 1,250 exhibiting companies as 4,700 papers are submitted on biomedical optics, biophotonics, translational research, industrial lasers, optoelectronics, microfabrication, 3D printing, MOEMS-MEMS, optical communications, displays, and more.
MedTech World’s medical design and manufacturing extravaganza is the largest of several staged across the country each year. This year, it coincides with seven other trade expos in the same location at the same time.
The Las Vegas event will be the world’s largest and most comprehensive LED and lighting industry gathering with more than 7,000 attendees, 300-plus exhibitors, some 100 leading industry speakers and 50 countries represented.
“Together, the LED Show and Strategies in Light will encourage the development of professional relationships representing the entire industry supply chain, from chip manufacturing, through the design community and all the way to the end user,” Johnson said.
Since its inception in 1985, Accumold’s mission has been to produce super-micro, ultra-precision, plastic injection-molded parts. Parts manufactured by the firm are critical components of the medical, automotive, military, aerospace and telecommunications industries. They can be found in micro-electronics, cell phones, telecommunications, surgical tools, hearing aids, medical devices, antennas, connectors and more. To produce those parts, Accumold builds specialized molding machines engineered to handle volumes from prototypes to millions per year while maintaining consistent, precise tolerances that are unique in the industry.
