SAN FRANCISCO – This week’s Wearable Technologies Conference 2017 USA has drawn the Ankeny, Iowa-based Accumold’s marketing team to the Bay Area.

The conference is described by organizers as “the must-attend event for all decisions makers in the industry.” Accumold Vice President of Marketing and Customer Strategy Aaron Johnson said the July 25-26 event at the Fort Mason Center is “a good fit all the way around.”

“The wearable-technology industry is making amazing advancements on a daily basis. Its reach extends into health care, fashion, the military, the workplace and beyond,” Johnson said. “Accumold is going to play a key role in the wearable technologies for decades to come. Our participation in this year’s Wearable Technologies Conference in San Francisco is one more step in that process.”

Johnson noted the future for wearable technologies “is truly extraordinary in its reach and potential.”

“The conference will have breakout sessions on wearable technology that can make early detection of cancer possible, improve disease-management communication between doctors and patients and reshape prenatal care,” he said. “There will even be a presentation on ‘cattle wearables’ that will affect how food reaches our dinner plate. To say the conversation on wearable technologies is fascinating would be an understatement. It’s the future brought to life today.”

WTC 2017 USA is the second such event for the Accumold marketing team this year following its involvement in its second consecutive Wearable Europe conference and exhibition in Berlin two months ago.
