The East Coast’s largest and most comprehensive medical manufacturing event will be drawing Accumold’s team to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York next week.

Hosting this year’s expo for leading medical innovators around the world, MD&M East will revolve around innovation and the future of technology as it opens June 14 and comes to a close two days later. The event will include live exhibits and demonstrations highlighting healthcare cyber security, medical device outsourcing, and prevailing against competitors in a tough and ever-changing market.

Along with many exhibits and demonstrations, this year’s event will include three inspirational keynote speakers who will present on topics from cultivating creativity and inspiring innovation, to preventing your company from being manipulated from the progression of technology.

One of the three keynote speakers will be former Dyson CEO Martin McCourt, who has worked for some of the biggest consumer brands for over 40 years. During his 15 years at Dyson, McCourt led the business from niche vacuum cleaner maker to a global brand with an extensive product line. Working closely with founder James Dyson, McCourt devised and implemented a strategy that transformed the company and allowed Dyson the freedom to focus on inventing products.

Accumold Vice President of Marketing and Customer Strategy Aaron Johnson said his team is looking forward to McCourt’s words of wisdom about the creative process.

“Our CEO, Roger Hargens, isn’t the only one person at Accumold who has followed the Dyson story and been so impressed by that company’s extraordinary transformation and success,” Johnson said. “Dyson is a top-flight technology manufacturing company and Martin McCourt had a pivotal role in its growth. All three of the expo’s keynote speakers are being billing as inspirational and we certainly expect Martin McCourt to inspire our team with his insights.”
