THE OLDE TOWNE DRAWS NEW TECHNOLOGY PROS FOR BIOMEDEVICE BOSTON ON APRIL 13-14
BOSTON — The Baltimore Orioles aren’t the only pros visiting the Olde Towne next week. Accumold’s marketing team will join thousands of other medical device developers, manufacturers, innovators and users as they converge upon the city for BIOMEDevice Boston.
The conference and exposition, a regular stop on the Accumold team’s annual trade show schedule, will be at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on April 13-14.
The BIOMEDevice conference will offer deep-dive technical tracks covering medical technology design and biomedical innovation as part of a broad range of panel discussions and hands-on workshops. Speakers include more than 50 top industry experts, including disruptive innovators who certain to stir attendees’ desire to push technology to new boundaries.
“This year’s expo will once again be the ideal gathering spot for top companies and the best innovators from across the medical manufacturing industry,” said Aaron Johnson, Accumold Vice President of Marketing and Customer Strategy. “When its organizers say attendees with ‘connect, learn, demo, and glean inspiration,’ we intend to do just that. And, of course, it’s a two-way street. As we’re learning about new developments, we’ll also be letting people know more about our contract manufacturing capabilities with medical device components and medical plastics.”
Since its inception, Accumold’s mission has been the production of super-micro, ultra-precision, plastic injection-molded parts with components that often measure in mere microns. Parts manufactured by the firm are critical components for the medical, micro-optics, electronics and other high-tech emerging industries. They can be found in personal communication devices, telecommunications, surgical tools, hearing aids, medical devices, antennas, connectors and more. To produce those parts, Accumold builds specialized molding machines engineered to handle volumes from prototypes to millions per year while maintaining consistent, precise tolerances that are unique in the industry.
