Position – CNC Programmer*
2nd shift - 5% differential- 2 PM to 10:30 PM
Non exempt - This position qualifieds for overtime.
Looking for those interested in the high-tech plastics industry and a desire to expand their knowledge and grow with our company. Seeking to add a Team Member to our tool room, programming CNC machines used to cut electrodes for building of molds used in the production of micro and small injection molded components. State of the art, fully climate controlled facility built in 2001.
Summary of Duties: Program CNC machining center using Mastercam version X3, to cut EDM electrodes.
Candidate will:
- Design, program and cut copper and graphite electrodes using Mastercam version X3 and high speed CNC machining centers.
- Use various machining techniques to product a quality plastic part the meets the requirements of the customer.
- Provide tooling support to the engineering, production, quality and maintenance departments of Accumold.
- Optimizes performance of the assigned CNC machining center.
Requirements:
- High School or GED required. Prefer three or more years programming experience with Mastercam version X3 competency.
- Proficient at designing with surfaces and solids in Mastercam and applying tool parths.
- Experience with CNC EDM sinkers is a plus.
- Understanding of mold building a plus.
- AutoCAD and SolidWorks and experience in their use a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to read and understand complicated designs and drawings.
